One of my favorite dishes in Shanghai, my home.
It`s a traditional dish that`s quite famous. The shrimp that they use is native to the water surrounding it. Whenever I go to a Shanghainese restaurant in Toronto, it never tastes the same due to the texture.
Anyways, it`s a steamed dish so it`s really healthy for you. The shrimp are then peeled and quickly tossed in a hot glaze made of chicken stock.
It`s amazingly delicious and all you taste is the shrimp.
A must try for anyone going to Shanghai =).
