Hello lovely Luuuxers!
A few weeks back, Sephora sent me an email with a $20 off of $50 coupon! My jaw just about hit the ground...and then I thought, oh no, I just spent so much at the VIB sale last month, and now I`m tempted with MORE MAKEUP?! But, alas, to Sephora I went, and I am so happy with what I purchased.
1. The Beauty Blender! ($19 full price)
I don`t know why it took me literally years to hop on to this band wagon. Maybe I just thought it was gimmicky? Or that I could find a drugstore version that did the same job? But after trying several knock off versions of this, and not being really satisfied, I decided to take the plunge and get the real deal. And, let me tell you, it is not hype! My foundation has literally never looked better. Even with drugstore foundations that I had lying around that I didn`t care for very much, now they look incredible and airbrushed. With this tool, you can save so much money on foundation because it makes even the cheapest ones look like they have high-end performance! My pores look blurred, the coverage is better, and I can apply my foundation faster. I honestly don`t see myself going back to using buffing brushes ever again after using the Beauty Blender! And no, I wish I could say I`m exaggerating, but I`m not!
2. Bite Beauty Best Bite Remix ($25 full price for 4 mini pencils)
I regretted not getting a similar set like this last year, and when I swatched the shades in store, it was love at first swipe! This set comes in what looks like a breathmint tin, and inside are four mini High Pigment Lip Pencils in the shades Sable (exclusive to this set), Rhubarb (permanent), Winterberry (exclusive), and Pomegranate (permanent). Sable and Rhubarb are gorgeous neutrals that are perfect for wearing to work, and Winterberry and Pomegranate are both gorgeous reddish colors for the holiday season. I knew that this set was worth the money because I adore each and every shade! Plus, the formula is incredible: hydrating, comfortable, yet long-wearing and intensely pigmented.
3. Sephora Collection Glitterguard 24 hour Eye Primer ($14 full price)
I picked this up because I was hoping to do a glittery eye look for New Years Eve using my new MAC pigment set, and I heard this is a dupe for the Too Faced Glitter Glue but significantly cheaper. I haven`t tried it yet but I can imagine it will make my eye makeup stay on a lot better that evening! I also hope to use this when I use other less glittery pigments to avoid fallout.
4. 100 Point Perk: Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in 99 Luftballons (Free with 100 points, $20 full size)
I had some points to spare from all of the crazy person shopping I`ve been doing lately, so I decided to cash in on this gorgeous Deborah Lippmann mini polish! I have never owned a DL polish before and I am obsessed with her glitters, so this was a no brainer. Can`t wait to bust this baby out!
And that is my haul! I paid $39 total for all of this, which for Sephora, is an awesome deal! Although makeup can be pricey and I hate that it rarely goes on sale, I do love how Sephora rewards its members during the holiday season! It is the most wonderful time of the year! :)
What did you haul with your Beauty Insider or VIB coupon? Anyone get the VIB Rouge coupon? (which I heard was for $25 off??) Let me know in the comments!
