Here is a quick Sephora haul for all of you! I went in to Sephora on the hunt for the iconic Smith`s Rosebud Salve and Balm. This stuff has been around forever and has a bit of a cult following since it is so popular and works so well.
With winter approaching, I knew my lips were going to need something and though I have heard of this product, I had never tried it myself. However, one of my close friends had a dermatologist suggest this to her for a burn near her lip, and she has been addicted ever since! It worked well on the burn and also helped her dry lips, so she has been raving about it since!
Dermatologist approved, without a prescription or breaking the bank? I knew I had to give it a shot, so I made a visit to Sephora.
So far, I have been loving it since it is not to thick, without being greasy, and absorbs nicely on the lips. It also does a great job hydrating the most chapped lips - I can tell that this product is going to be a staple in my beauty routine!
I also made the decision to purchase this now, since it also happens to be my birthday month! So I received the Nars mini lip pencil duo which is this year`s gift. One pencil is matte while the other is standard shiny, but I have to say, the matte one is my preference. The problem with matte colours is that if you have chapped lips, they don`t look good where shiny lip colours can hide that a bit better. But with my new rosebud salve, I don`t think I will have to worry about that!
