I am on Easter Break, in which I am so glad since this semester is weighing me down with all the school load and my jobs. So I was glad to finally be able to do some shopping to relax. Right after class on Thursday I went downtown to do some shopping since my break finally started. I stopped by a lot of stores - and one of them being Sephora.
Since I have been so stressed out, my skin had been taking its tow on me. Because of this, I started to wear foundation. At first, I just have been using the Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse as my foundation. It was working perfectly with my combination/dry skin. However, I wanted something more high end - especially since I wanted to splurge from the stress. :)
I had one in mind already and it was the Make Up For Ever line. However, I also wanted to test it in-stores and then find my shade. After testing it and talking to some wonderful Sephora girls, I picked up the Make Up For Ever High Definition Foundation in #117 - Marble. I have not worn it yet besides for when I tried it in stores so I cannot do a review yet. It seemed wonderful then and when I get to go out this weekend I will wear it and make a review when I get the chance.
This was $40.00, but with the 15% for Beauty Insiders for Chic Week, it was $34.00. In total, I paid around $38.00 due to tax, but it was still a good deal to me since I had some type of discount. This was actually my first high end makeup too, so I cannot wait to test it. :)
