Sephora Hair And Lips Haul

I decided to make a quick stop at Sephora to see what was new. I wasn`t looking for anything in particular but somehow I was suckered into buying three things. Typical typical ha.

First Impressions:

- Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment: I have heard many good things about this product. Since I have frizzy, dry and sad winter hair, I decided to finally cave in and buy this hair treatment. This oil is meant to restore, soften and give shine to your hair. And what`s great is that it`s paraben-, sulfate-, and pthalate-free! I wasn`t really sure what Pequi was and did some digging and found that it is a type of fruit oil. This bottle is 60mL/2 oz, which is pretty tiny and only comes in this one size. The cost of this was $39.99 CAD. I am excited to give this a try in hopes that it will calm down the crazy frizzies and flyaways. Hopefully the price is worth it!

- Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Amber: I am a long time Buxom fan and love their lip glosses. Some have said that their gloss is too sticky/tacky and didn`t like their tingling (plumping) formula, but I don`t mind it at all. Personally, I find their glosses moisturizing and love the light scent of vanilla. I have several of their lip glosses and lip pencils in different shades and out of all the ones I tried, I found that I really like their nude/peach coloured glosses. Since my all time favourite colour is now sadly discontinued, I decided to try and find the closest one to it (which still doesn`t come close to what I loved). Amber is a `soft shimmering peach` which is a great everyday colour to wear. I like how the shimmer is subtle yet it still makes your lips look glossy. This gloss is 4.45mL/0.15oz and costs $23 CAD.

-Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum: Yep, this is another hair oil. You`re probably wondering why I would buy two in one trip. Well I have also heard good things about this serum and couldn`t decided which one I wanted more; either the Josie Maran or the Couture Colour. But in the end I settled for both since they are both different oils and Pequi is probably more difficult to find. This hair serum is also an anti-frizz treatment that gives shine to your hair. Hopefully this product will do wonders for my hair. But the question at the back of my head is, which of the two oils will be the better one? This bottle contains the same amount of product as the Couture Colour which is 60mL/2oz and costs the same, $39.99 CAD.

I am excited to try the hair oils since I really need to restore moisture back into my hair due to damage done by the cold winter air. And to get it looking good again before summer comes. I know I will enjoy Buxom`s Amber but I still wish I could get my favourite shade back.

Have you tried any of these products?
