Now, I have tried countless ways to apply foundation, with sponges, Mac`s 188 and 187 brush, Bobbie Brown`s foundation brush and even just my own fingers. I haven`t really been satisfied with the results. I then decided that it must be my face that`s the problem. I was once again wrong! I finally tried the Beauty Blender which is essentially a sponge but very different at the same time. It`s a egg shaped sponge with a pointy tip for concealer application. GENIUS! I love this product. It definitely gives that whole full, flawless coverage that I have always wanted. I think the downside is it`s pretty expensive. Most things from Sephora are. As far as I know there are 2 different kinds of blender`s at Sephora and then Sonia Kashuk came out with one also that is shaped a little differently for better handling when applying your foundation. I`ll post prices below.
Sephora Beauty Blender: $19.95 add the cleaning solution as a set for $34.95. Sonia Kashuk: $10.49 Sephora also has the Precision Egg but I heard that it is terrible to get clean. It retails for $12.00. Fortunately for me I got this as a gift so I didn`t have to shell out the money but if i had known about it beforehand I would have tried the Sonia Kashuk one.
