Sephora Again? Yep And First Impressions!

It`s so hard to leave Sephora empty handed! I decided to pop by my local Sephora to see what deals they had during Black Friday, and I couldn`t find anything. Instead of leaving right away, I decided to walk around (which I shouldn`t have ha).

What I Got & First Impressions:

-Boscia Tsubaki Secrets ($58 CAD): The only product I have tried from Boscia are their blotting sheet, which I adore. I decided to pick up this kit that is valued at $88 CAD and it contains: one Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Deep Hydrating Clay, 50 mL Tsubaki Beauty Oil and 50 mL Tsubaki Cleansing Oil-Gel. This set is a great deal since the Tsubaki Beauty Oil is $57 CAD; so by paying $1 more you are getting the Cleansing Oil-Gel and Cleansing Sponge for free! The packaging is a night pink colour and is pretty girly I would say. Before buying this, I didn`t know what Tsubaki was so I decided to look it up and turn out it`s Camellia oil. This oil is meant to bring smoothness to the skin and has been used in Japan for centuries. If you want Geshia smooth skin, then check this oil out! Anyways, the beauty oil has a light flower scent to it and surprisingly the sponge is hard!

- 2 X Philosophy Purity Made Simple ($13 CAD each): I decided to get two 90 mL bottles of this since this is the smallest size available. I`ve heard really good things about this facial cleanser and decided that I should probably give it a try. People have told me that this is a fantastic cleanser for makeup wearers, which I am not...but it`s said that it smooths the most dry and sensitive skin. The sensitive skin part sold me. The only thing I don`t like about this is how the lid is designed. It seems cheap since the lid doesn`t close tightly and I am afraid that it might spill when knocked over or it`ll dry up...

-Tweezerman Mini Nail Rescue Kit ($28 CAD): From experience, I am quite prone to getting hang nails, cuticles that lift and rough nails that snag on things. So I decided to finally invest in a small nail kit to carry around all the time, since I generally pick my hang nails or cuticles till they bleed...gross I know! Tweezerman has a good reputation for their products and I know that these tools will last. The kit comes with: one nail file, one cuticle clipper, one nail clipper, one cuticle pusher and nail cleaner, and one clear case to store them. I like that the case closes tightly and that the case is made of hard plastic.

- Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil Light ($20): Josie Maran is well known for her Argan Oil infused products, so I decided to give her 100% Pure Argan Oil a try. I picked up the smallest bottle which is 15 mL, since it`d be a good tester to see if it works well with my skin. I decided to get the light version instead of the regular one since I feared that my face would look too oily with the regular one. The oil has a earthy, natural smell to it. It doesn`t smell bad or good.

Overall, I`m happy with my random purchase but it`s not so good for my wallet...I`m most excited to try the beauty oils either from Josie Maran or from Boscia.

Did you buy anything for Black Friday from Sephora?
