Semi-Homemade MacampCheese w chicken amp broccoli

I know I`m a complete master chef. It must be the result of all the cooking competition shows I`ve been watching lately. I made this meal earlier on in the week for lunch. As the title says, its just a simple macaroni and cheese to which I added broccoli and chicken.

To break it down, here`s what I used:
1 box of kraft deluxe macaroni and cheese [real cheese not powdered].
1 bundle of broccoli.
1/2 lb of boneless skinless chicken breast.

What I did:
1.) Cut the chicken breast into 1 inch chunks. Separate the broccoli trees. Cut the stem into thin chunks.
2.) Boil water in a pot & add the macaroni. Cook for 10 minutes.
3.) Place chicken in a sauce pan with olive oil and saute till golden brown.
4.) Place broccoli in a pot with about an inch of water. Cover and cook till tender.
5.) When macaroni is done cooking, drain water.
6.) Add cooked broccoli and cooked chicken into pot with macaroni. Stir a bit, then mix in the cheese.

Then Voila, very simple macaroni and cheese with protein and a little bit of veggies is done.

I admit, when I wrote the directions above, I altered it a bit from what I did. I actually added the cheese to the macaroni before adding the chicken and broccoli, and it made things taste really dry. There wasn`t enough cheese to go around. I may do variations of this in the future, where I just add more cheese. But other than that, it was a pretty filling meal. One bowl was enough for me.

This was my relatively easy rendition of mac&cheese.
