The Japenese think of everything and this invention is like no other I have seen before. The Meta Cookie+ was first showcased at the Tokyos Digital Content Expo. This device fools you into believing that you are eating something delicious. There are hoses in this device that send smells of a particular food to the nose of the person wearing it and also displays and image of the food item on the screen. Since the sense of smell and taste are tied together it would should make your boring healthy item seem like a delicious not so healthy item. There`s also a second device that makes your food appear 50% bigger. I think that is called a magnifying glass, but the idea behind it is it tricks you into thinking you are eating more of something than you actually are. Researchers claim people ate 9.3% less when wearing these devices. I personally believe everything in moderation is the key and you can have your cake and eat it too not just stare at it or a fake picture of it. But it`d be interesting to smell what sorts of scents are released by the device haha.
Do you think this would actually help people with curbing their appetite?
Would you try either of the two devices they talked about?
