I have been using Seche Vite for several months now and I have come to a conclusion that its just not for me. Before trying it out I have heard a lot of good reviews on and I decided to try it but I have to say that I wont be purchasing this product again. After using Seche Vite a couple of times I noticed that the formula became very tacky and hard to work with. It also caused very bad shrinkage to a point where I could peel the nail polish off. This really annoyed me. It also tends to dent easily if you dont wait enough for your nails to dry. On the other side I have fallen in love with the Out The Door top coat which has a much thinner formula and a more pleasant smell. Although, compare to Seche Vite it takes a minute or so longer to dry but to me it is worth it. With Out The Door I have not had any shrinkage which makes it an ideal top coat for me.
I can also save some money by using Out The Door since it costs around $5 or $6 while Seche Vite retails for around $8 or $9. I know Seche Vite has been preferred by a lot of people but I will not waste my money on it again.
What are your thoughts on these two top coats? What are some of your favorite top coats?
