I have been dying to paint my nails a bright, fun colour for the spring season (at least where I live its still spring) for the past few weeks. But I couldnt since I had my gel nails on and left them on for a good 2 weeks or so. But now that they are finally gone, I can paint them however I like! I decided to give my nails a break for a bit over a week before painting them like these. To make things fun and to jazz up my nails, I decided to use:
-Base Coat: Seche Natural (1 coat)
-Base Colour: China Glaze Aquadelic (2 coats)
-Glitter Coat on accent nail: OPI Save Me (1 coat)
-Glitter Coat on all nails but accent nail: China Glaze Techno (2 coats)
-Top Coat: Seche Vite (1 coat)
-Cuticle Cream: Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
I really like the way these nails turned out, but the removal of these will be a huge pain! I really dont understand why glitter polishes have to be so hard to remove; they are so pretty! These nails are way more fun and prettier than the red gel nails I had. I found the formula for China Glaze Aquadelic to be terrible. It was really thick and hard to apply, which is strange since its brand new and I bought it a little while ago. I also found the China Glaze Sweet Hook hard to apply. Maybe its because this batch of their Electropop collection was not very good. But Techno was a breeze to apply. I think I need to pick up some polish thinner soon.
I wasnt really sure what I wanted to name this nail of the day, but I some how decided to create the title with just the name of the polishes. And the name turned out all right; not sure if I wanted it to be Save Me, Aquadelic Techno or Aquadelic Techno, Save Me. This was my first time using all of these products except for the Seche Natural and Seche Vite. I really wonder if the Burts Bees Cuticle Cream will really help my dry cuticles.
