One thing I love to cook is sautéed spinach! It`s so easy to cook, it tastes amazing plus it`s healthy! I always have spinach in my frige at all times and I put it in as many dishes as I can when I cook. Sautéed spinach though is one of my quick easy recipes it go to when I need a fast dinner side to make. So here is how I make it:

First I take a pan with high sides and add about a tablespoon to two tablespoons of olive oil in the pan. I then take 3 cloves of chopped garlic and add it into the pan while it`s still cold. At the se time I also add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the oil. The reason why I put those two items in the pan while the oil is still cold is because I want the garlic and pepper flakes to infuse the oil. So on medium heat while that heats up and cooks after about two minutes I take the spinach and here I used 1 pound of spinach and added it all into the pan. I know it looks like a lot but it cooks down to like nothing lol. So once I add all the spinach to the pan I sprinkle in some salt and pepper then cover it with a lid. I let it sit covered with the lid for about 2 minutes and the. I take the lid off and you can see that the spinach wilted down a lot. I give it a few mixes and let it cook more for about 3 more minutes then turn the stove off. Cooking this does not take very long at all so make sure you don`t over cook your spinach! And that`s it! Simple and quick but lastly this is optional but I like to squeeze some lemon juice over the sautéed spinach and it adds a nice flavor to it. This is something I cook often and I never get tired of it and I hope you guys try it out.
