Samsung unveils new Galaxy Beam, hybrid smartphone with projector

Following their ads to the MWC (Mobile World Congress), Samsung unveiled last night (25/02) the new model of the Galaxy Beam, a device that combines the functions of a smartphone with the convenience of a portable projector. The gadget has not scheduled to hit the market, or a value set, but fans of the brand can now expect a device with Android 2.3 and dual-core processor running at 1GHz. Check out some more specifications:

Display 4-inch 480x800 (WVGA)
Back camera 5MP and 1.3MP front
Shoots 720p, 30fps
Dual-core processor running at 1GHz
Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
8 GB of internal memory

In addition, Samsung has announced that the gadget has 6 GB of RAM. However, it is very likely that the information is incorrect, since it is fully jarring of industry standards
