The new high-end mobile phone from Samsung has a HD Super Plus 4.8-inch AMOLED display, quad-core 1.4 Ghz and a new design.
Samsung returned to bet on Super AMOLED screen, but this time the quality is HD with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, 4.8 inches in all. Besides the already announced Exynos four processor cores at 1.4 GHz, the new Samsung Galaxy is equipped with 1GB of RAM which will allow better management of multi-tasking as well as having more processes running in the background. The rear camera has an 8 megapixel sensor while the front camera has a resolution of 1.9 Mp. Another of the big news of the GS III is the recognition of voice commands, while the front camera will be able to recognize movements made by the user.
The smartphone South Korea has a maximum thickness of 8.6 mm and a weight of 133 grams. The phone revealed during the 2012 Samsung Unpacked 4G has no connection, but according to Engadget an LTE version of the Galaxy S III is already being prepared to markets. The device comes equipped with the newest version of Android 4.0 and TouchWiz touch brings the South Korean manufacturer.
Physically the Samsung Galaxy S III is more rounded at the ends than their predecessors, resembling a little to another mobile phone from Samsung, the Galaxy Nexus. The company preferred to maintain a physical button on the front of the device, not making full use of the virtual buttons on the Ice Cream Sandwich.
