I have had my Blackberry for two years now, and I honestly hated it. I have no idea how I was talked into purchasing a Blackberry as my first smartphone, but I`m sure glad that I finally don`t have to deal with it anymore.
About a week ago my Blackberry died on me and the store said that there was nothing they can do to fix it. And because I was due for an update on my contract, getting a new phone was the best option. With the recommendations of all of my friends I went with an android, specifically the Samsung Droid Charge.
My brother has the new Droid Razr and he loves it, but because it was so huge I decided to go with the Droid Charge and I am so happy with my decision. The key features of the Droid Charge are the following:
Verizon 4G LTE Network
4.3" Super AMOLED Plus Screen
HTML Web Browser
Front and Rear Cameras
4G LTE Mobile Hotspot
There`s also an insane amont of Apps and the touch screen is amazing. Basically everything about the iPhone, but just better. With the extended plan, they also threw in a 32GB memory card for me for free, with was amazing!
I was first worried about committing to the Droid Charge because online reviews did mention that they had issues with dropped calls and battery life, however I have not experienced dropped calls and you have to realize that battery life on any smartphone (including the iPhone is not going to be ideal). Once you turn off the wifi on your phone you can save a lot of battery life. With the Droid Charge I can go through an entire day of texting, games, calls, etc. without having to recharge.
Definitely would recommend any Android phone to anyone out there looking for a new investment on their mobile devices.
