I know, I know. I should stop buying polishes. In my defense they had a buy 2, get 1 free deal going on. I couldn`t possibly overlook that. Lol. I really went in to buy the gel kit Holly had, but the reps talked me out of it. So as usual I got something I "needed" and a few things I just couldn`t leave without. Plus I had 15% my next purchase since I had spent over $25 on my last trip.
What I picked up:
3 China Glaze polishes. All perfect for this season. Bright and bold.
Four Leaf Clover: A bright tealish green
Blue Sparrow: A neon blue with very, very fine greenish shimmer
Pool Party: A neon pink
Next I picked up 2 filling squares. 1 is fine and perfect for my nails. The 2nd is very rough which I like to use for the dead skin on my feet. Wearing flip flops so often, and walking bare foot on carpert causes your feet to get very dry and cracked. So those help a lot, especially after a bath.
Lastly I picked up Instant Artificials base coat. Like I said earlier I was going to get the kit Holly had bought. I just wanted the gel, not the nails. The reps there told me I could just go a different route. My problem is my nails are constantly breaking. the corners just chip, or they just crack. My nails are very strong, which is why they break. They are like ice. The minute it taps something it cracks. If they were soft they would just bend. The reps told me this base coat mimmicks artificial nails. You apply it and your nails are hard as rocks. It is also very eay to remove. It comes off with acetone. I have yet to test it since I just got it. I will try it out for a few weeks and give you gals a report. Unless I wear it and it chip the very next day.
My total was $17, which isn`t bad at all. What do you all think of my haul? Do you have any of these polishes? Have you tried Instant Artificials?
