I`m fairly certain I have talked about both of the polishes used here on their own. So, I won`t go into a lot of detail about them. Today I wanted to do something that would mix a color suited to the weather, yet have a pop of color to brighten it up. I went rummaging through my polishes and came out with these two. I thought they`d be fun to combine and still look nice side by side. I haven`t worn my Xtreme Wear polishes for quite some time. Well, not as solid in color as this manicure, anyway. I noticed Pacific Blue had a skunk-like smell to it. I don`t remember it smelling like that the last time I used it. Perhaps it did but I just don`t remember. It sort of reminds me of the Julep Top Coat smell. That is a funky smelling top coat, and that is what I was reminded of. Oddly, though, Wet Cement didn`t have that scent. I am wearing one coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails on all nails. Next, I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Pacific Blue to the thumbs as well as the index and pinky fingers. The middle and ring fingers have two coats of Sally Hansen Wet Cement. For the design, I first applied a black star shaped rhinestone to the center tip of each nail. I went back in with a tiny dotting tool and Sinful Colors Black on Black to dot in along side each star. All nails have a single coat of Seche Vite.
