This is the second polish I tried out from the Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect line. This is Air. Without looking at the bottle, I keep wanting to call it Sky. Just like all of the others in this line, Air is very soft and pastel. It has extremely micro fine shimmers in it that can`t really be detected unless you are closely inspecting it. From a glance it looks just like a creme finish polish. Air is a beautiful, very soft, baby blue. Last spring I saw several brands come out with their version of baby blue, so Sally Hansen may be a bit behind on that, but I`ll take late over never. This is quite a sheer polish, just like the rest from this collection. Here, I am wearing three coats, and you can still see the color at the very tips of my nails showing through. One thing I don`t like is that the area at the tips that shows ends up looking yellowed and dirty. I think the blue just makes the tips look a bit dingy. Other than that, though, I quite like this polish. It comes off a bit more delicate than some of my other blues, even. Somehow, I look at it and think it may be more wearable than even Essie`s Borrowed and Blue. I can`t put my finger on why, though. HAHA! If you don`t mind building up your color (so far 3 coats is the max I`ve needed) a bit, then I`d say give these polishes a shot. The color is nice, they are smooth, and I adore the brush. If you aren`t a fan of the more paddle style brush, though, you won`t like these. They have the same brush style as the ones in their Complete Salon Manicure line.
