Sailing in Long Island Sound

Back in 2006 when I was part of a Men`s group at my church. The fellows in the group got to go on a sail boat as part of a little bonding. The captain/owner of the boat was a friend of the pastor`s and was nice enough to take us along and show us how to sail and work as a team. Where we sailed is a part of the Atlantic Ocean called the Long Island Sound.

Long Island Sound is the body of water between Long Island, New York and Connecticut. Being on a small sailboat was not the experience I expected. I had been on a cruise boat before and other large vessels. But that doesn`t prepare you for a sailboat. It was SO rocky that for the first time in a long time I really wanted to PUKE off the side of the boat. Thankfully I held it in and had a small lunch.

Talk the TALK
1) Have you ever gone sailing before?
2) Do you ever get seasick or carsick?

Thanks for reading! =D
