I was in the drugstore a couple of weeks ago and wanted a healthier snack, so I grabbed something Ive always passed, sacha inchi seeds.
They`re similar looking to nuts, but are actually seeds from somewhere in South America, I believe.
Well sad to say, I know why I always passed them, they not a pleasant treat. Theyre caramelized with cane sugar, but taste like bland yet bitter and possibly rancid hazelnuts.
Needless to say 1 oz is loaded with 6 grams of protein.
Maybe these seeds were rancid and I got a bad bag? Don`t know if I`d try them again, they were nearly $3 for the little bag.
Has anyone else tried this snack?
