Hi everyone! The next couple post are going to be about how I rolled over a bunch of ExtraCare Bucks (ECB) and combined them with coupons (manufacturer and store) to get a bunch of makeup for only a couple dollars. It may seem a bit confusing, but I`m going to try and break it down the best I can. It all started about three weeks ago with a tiny CVS haul where I picked up the Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in Honey, which wasn`t posted about. Apparently that week they were having a deal: buy $10 in Revlon and get $4 back in ExtraCare Bucks (ECB), but since my purchase wasn`t close to the $10 I didn`t get the ECB. Now it is 3 weeks later and that same deal is still going on, and apparently my previous purchase carried over. Recently I posted about the /viz/new-loreal-infallible-shadows I picked up at CVS where I got $3 ECB for spending $10. And this week at CVS, the magic red scanner machine is printing out a $3 off a $10 cosmetics purchase EVERY DAY this week! So let`s begin with the savings. This is the new ColorStay Whipped creme foundation in the shade Sand Beige, which can be found in a large floor display with the Balm Stains. I picked this up because ItsJudyTime on YouTube did a first impressions video on it and her face stayed matte all day with this product and she has oily skin like me, so I was immediately intrigued. The color selection is very small, especially compared to the original ColorStay foundation line, so hopefully they will release more shades if this product proves popular.
The price breakdown: - Original price of the foundation: $14.29 - ECB used: $3 off - Store coupon used: $3 off $10 purchase - New total: $8.29 - Grand total with tax (yours will vary): $9.54 - On top of all that, I got $8 ECB back for this purchase + the purchase of the Balm Stain Honey that I bought 3 weeks ago. On all the signs in the store, it says that it`s limit 1 per household, but on my receipt it looks like you can do this buy $10, get $4 four times! So this was a really welcome surprise as I only expected to get $4 back. - In the end it`s like I only paid $1.54 for this foundation that was originally almost $15! Pretty exciting savings right? Have you gotten any good deals at CVS lately? Stay tuned for how I used these ECBs plus more coupons to get more savings! All images and content are my own.
