A few weeks back Groupon was offering a deal where for $20 (plus an additional $6 for shipping) you could purchase all 7 of Shaun T`s Rockin` Body workout DVDs. I contemplated purchasing and finally splurged, submitting my order happily. I`m not one for a workout DVD but since I`ve been slacking and not going to the gym, I felt this would be something I could pop into the DVD player and do without feeling bad. I love zumba, but I`m really a zumba instructor snob and sadly my favorite zumba instructor had to leave the gym for a while and her replacement I just do NOT like her style. So instead of going and having a half-assed aggravating workout, I just don`t go -- which is completely bad. Vicious cycle!
Since I enjoy zumba so much, I felt I could dance like a fool in my house following Shaun T`s workout. The DVDs range all over the place. They are set to tone your entire body, but some of the DVDs are set to focus on targeted areas. The 7 workouts are: Mark, Move & Groove; Disco Groove; Party Express; Shaun T`s Dance Party; Rock It Out; Hard Core Abs; and Booty Time. There are also some extras included with the purchase of the DVDs, there is a workout calendar, 3 Day Slim Down guide, a Never "Diet" Again Guide and a Party Guide. Quite a good amount of stuff for the $26 (yes, I`m including shipping) I paid out of pocket.
Do you prefer going to the gym to get in some activity or do you rather find your own means to get it in?
Have you ever tried the Rockin` Body workout DVDs?
