I`ve been a hommus/hummus fan for as long as I can remember. Typically I purchase the authentic version from my local Lebanese bakery -- but with trying to switch up my eating these past few weeks I was at the grocery store and spotted the roasted red pepper hommus. I used to purchase this all the time to eat with crackers, but I decided to get it to use as a condiment on sandwiches. Since then that`s all I`ve been doing -- using this on sandwiches along with sriracha -- the two together are AMAZING! The hommus is very flavorful and because it`s ground up chickpeas it adds extra protein to the sandwich, making it more enjoyable. Adding it with sriracha really just gives it a little extra kick. I`ve eaten this combination with grilled chicken, deli chicken, and deli turkey and I`ve enjoyed it all. While at the grocery store this afternoon I picked up the large Party Size variety. Yums!
