Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick! Review + Swatches lt3

Hello lovely Luuuxers! Today I want to show you my collection of Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks and give my review on them!

I really do love these lipsticks. They come in a wide range of shades and finishes, are very hydrating, and have SPF, which is a must because I often forget that my lips need protection too!

The shades I own (from left to right) are: Pink Chic, Fancy, Dreamy, and Summer Angel. Pink Chic is a bubble-gum pink that goes on with a satin finish. Fancy is my favorite shade of the bunch; it is a mauvy-pink with shimmer. Dreamy is a peachy nude shade that has very slight shimmer, and is a "my lips but better" shade for me that complements any eye look. Lastly, Summer Angel is a very shimmery nude color that looks the best on me when I have a bit of a tan. I had a bit of trouble getting the swatches to reflect the true color of the lipsticks (the colors all look really similar on my hand but they are really different in real life!), but hopefully you all will get the idea!

One of the reasons I love these lipsticks is because I normally do not wear lip gloss, so I like my lipsticks to have a satiny or shimmery finish to perk up my lips and make them look plump and hydrated. These lipsticks are so creamy and have just enough gloss to make my lips look perked up. They aren`t the most pigmented lip colors I have ever owned, but I have very pigmented lips to begin with so I often have problems with lipsticks not having great color pay-off. I still love the amount of color these give me when I`m not looking for a super dramatic look. Out of the four I own, Pink Chic shows up the best on me.

I also love the packaging! The shiny purple tubes are so unique, and it is easy to pick them out when they are floating at the bottom of my purse of backpack.

The one drawback to these lipsticks is that they sometimes give me a little bit of a funny taste in my mouth. The only way I can describe it is "soapy." But I find that this happens almost always when my lip products have SPF in them. Oh well, this is not a huge deal-breaker for me!

These lipsticks retail for about $7 at my drugstore, but prices where I live are often higher than the rest of the country (which stinks!). I also bought all of these when the drugstore was having a BOGO half off sale on Rimmel products, which happens rather frequently.

Overall I highly recommend these lipsticks! Hope you all found this review to be helpful! :)
