Rice Omelette (Omurice)

Today for lunch, I tried making a rice omelette, omurice. I watched a video a while back by cookingwithdog and wanted to try the recipe. For mine, I used my own ingredients because I probably didn`t have some of the ingredients in the recipe. I used two eggs with milk and a pinch of salt, white rice, green onion, tomato, prosciutto, smoked sausage, and mozzarella Cheestring. In one pan I fried the leftover rice with the ingredients, and in another I cooked the egg. Once the fried rice was ready, I placed some of in center and folded in the sides of the egg. Luckily I used a mozzarella Cheestring because the egg was almost cooked by then and it wouldn`t stay on top of the rice. The cheese acted as glue. Then I turned off the heat and slowly flipped the omelette over on to a plate so the open part was facing down, and garnished with some ketchup. It was okay, not the best. I think it would`ve been better if it wasn`t day old rice and the egg wasn`t as cooked. Maybe I`ll try again.
