I purchased this Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer a few weeks ago and I have tried this product for awhile now so I thought I`d a "thoughts" post. Please note: I never wore this with make up nor am I make up savvy.
What appealed me to this primer? On the back of the product it states you can use this alone or under make up. The part that appealed to me was "use this alone". Since it`s a primer it`s supposedly going to give you a more pore-less face, fresh looking perhaps right? So I thought I`d take the risk in trying this product out, who knows it may work right?
What I concluded with trying this product without make up:
Packaging - This product comes in a glass bottle with a pump. Having a pump is great for sanitary reasons and plus you`re not wasting any product!
Scent - No scent at all which is nice.
What does this product do? - I feel that it makes your skin even also I have pores that I dislike and this product covers a good amount of the pores, not completely but better than nothing.
Coverage - This isn`t foundation but this primer is lightweight, you can barely feel that it`s on your skin from my perspective. This primer is build-able if you like.
Overall: I actually like this product, it makes my face look more evened out and reduces pores just as is. However as far as repurchasing, probably not? I don`t really need this product but I ended getting this for real cheap with coupons at CVS. I don`t remember how much, I think less than $3 when this retails for $13.99. I think it`s a good product just not something I necessarily need to have. I think it`s worth a shot to try if this goes on sale. As for trying this with foundation-- I haven`t since I don`t wear make up often therefore I don`t know, sorry.
