I got these two Revlon Lip butters last week at Walgreens, but still hadn`t posted about them cause I wanted to use them and swatch them. My lighting and camera aren`t the best, so swatch and photos don`t look too good, but best I could do!
So I got the lip butters in Crème Brulee and Peach Parfait. Crème Brulee is a very beige nude color, not peachy at all. It seems very beige and neutral to me. It has some shimmer, but it doesn`t look like it on the lips. Peach parfait is a nice coral with quite some shimmer, and those show up a lot on the lips.
The texture of these I found really nice, they`re creamy, easy to apply and feel wonderful on the lips. I don`t think they`re particularly moisturizing, though. I heard a lot of people saying they`re very moisturizing, but I don`t think they do anything for my lips: don`t dry them or moisturize them.
As a lip butter, it also doesn`t last a long time on, which I didn`t expect them to, cause they`re not really supposed to. Still, even if they feel nice on the lips, I still prefer a regular lipstick or lipgloss that last longer. Nothing really stays on my lips for a long time, usually won`t even last for 1 hour, never for 2 hours unless it`s a pro longwear product (which will last 4 hours if I`m lucky). These last for 40 minutes for me.
I do like them, might get a few more colors to try (cause they do have some really nice colors), but I`m not obssessed with them like most people seem to be!
