The Revlon Lip Butters have been around for a little while now so I might seem a bit late in jumping on the lip butter bandwagon, but as they say, better late than never! I picked up the shade Tutti Frutti, which is a bright orangey coral colour and is the one worn by Emma Stone in the Revlon advert. Such a babe! They retail for £7.99 in the UK and there are around 14 different shades available at most Revlon stands.
Tutti Frutti is extremely pigmented and really easy to apply. It is the perfect cross between a lipstick and a lip balm, it leaves the lips with a burst of colour but also feeling moisturised and looking smooth. The colour does fade quite quickly but I suppose this is the difference between a lip butter and a lip stick. This is the only shade I have tried so far but I have heard that the pigmentation and finish on the lips does differ between the different shades. I love the look of both raspberry pie and candy apple so I am thinking these might have to be purchased next! The packaging seems to have stirred up a bit of a love/hate response however it reminds me of the pattern found on the Dior Lipsticks and I have to say i quite like that the casing matches the colour of the lip butter. Makes them easy to find in your handbag and looks just that bit prettier.
Right now selected Revlon cosmetics are on a 3 for 2 offer in Boots, so it might be worth trying some of the shades out if you have been fancying them! Let me know if you have any or plan to pick any up soon!
