These Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stains have been my obsession lately and Im sure youve heard me say that one too many times by now but I seriously love them! They have been the only lip product that Ive been using besides carmex since Ive bought them. Because I jumped onto the balm stain wagon a little late I wasnt able to find all the ones I wanted at first but after looking at different stores I think I finally have all the ones I want and I now have a total of 5. A lot of people have been saying that these are similar to the Clinique Chubby Sticks or the Tarte Lipsurgence. Ive never had either of those nor have I ever had any sort of lip product like this before so this was a whole new experience for me. The main reason why I kind of stayed away from this was because I wasnt the biggest fan of the Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain. I felt like I was taking a marker to my lips and I just realized that lip stains like that were just not for me. So once I started seeing people talk about this I got really interested. What I like about these balm stains is the packaging! It looks like a little marker and its simple. I also like the fact that its retractable so you dont have to sharpen it which makes it super convenient. To me its also travel friendly since it is a twist up and I like that since this summer this is the only lip product Ive been talking with me on vacations. This is about 6-8 dollars depending on where you purchase it. I find that its cheaper to buy at target then at the drugstore but of course Revlon always has sales so you can easily get these on sale. This doesnt really go on smoothly on the lips because it kinda tugs across your lips when you apply it. This may be a con for some people but for me personally I dont mind it but it would be nice if it did glide on smoother. On the lips when first applied it does feel like a nice lightweight balm. It doesnt feel heavy or feel like its just sitting on top of you lips. Then after a while youll feel the balm feeling go away and that its dried to a stain. I found these to be nicely pigmented and I felt like the color lasts me a good 5-6 hours but towards the end of that 5-6 hours I do notice that the color slightly faded especially on my top lip. I do like to re-apply like late afternoon just to intensify the color more if Im going to be wearing this into the night time if Im going out or something. As for scent it smells and tastes like peppermint which I do like. Its not a very strong peppermint smell or taste so its not annoying if you dont like the taste of smell of peppermint. Honey: rosy pink nude Rendezvous: peachy orange Lovesick: bright blue based pink Romantic: orangey red Crush: pinky plum Overall I love these balm stains! They are effortless, mess free, and easy to apply. Its perfect to just throw into your bag and go. If you like not fussing around with lip color then this may be something you would like to try out.
Do you like these Revlon balm stains as much as I do? ___________________________________________________________ Check out the /viz/bay-area-luuux-meet pictures! @micagee instagram: micagee
