I finally picked this up! Ulta had a 40% off sale on all Revlon last week. I figured now was the best time to purchase this. It retails for about $14USD, so with the discount it came up to $8 and some change (before tax). I learned a couple things during this little purchase though...
1. Foundation appears lighter in the bottle than the actual color. I should have known this, but it has been a minute since I bought drugstore foundation. That being said, I originally bought this in the shade, Caramel. It is the darkest shade available, but still didn`t look that dark to me. I tried it on at home and I looked like i just came back from vacationing in Hawaii! This would probably be my color during the summertime. Not a bad thing, but probably won`t take me in the the cooler months.
2. The second thing I learned is that Ulta has a wonderful return policy. I called ahead of time first, but they gladly took back my wrong shade of foundation in exchange for a better choice ( as long as I had my receipt). The time frame for the return is 60 days. I think that`s more than generous.
I`ve only tried this foundation out for a couple days, but so far so good. Since it is whipped foundation, the consistency is thicker than what I am used to. A very small amount gives me medium coverage. I pat on a little bit of my Make Up Forever powder and it helps me stay less oily. I`m so glad I got it on sale, otherwise I probably would not have tried it.
