Revlon Colorstay 16 hour eyeshadow Review

I got this quad in the color addictive from Target recently for $4 and I think it`s pretty good. I`ve checked reviews for it and some people said it wasn`t very pigmented and I`ll agree that it`s not the most pigmented thing out there, but not the worst. It`s a little more sheer and natural than some other more pigmented eyeshadows. I like the packaging since it`s sleek and something you can travel with. The top two colors are a light nude sort of color and a light taupe color. Both have a little bit of glitter-y shimmer, which I`m not a fan of, but when applied to the eyes, they look matte. The left bottom is a satin-y taupe color and the right bottom is a matte reddish brown color. The matte brown one is the most pigmented out of all the colors. I found that when you swatch the eyeshadows on your hand, they aren`t as pigmented as they are when applied to your eyes. The staying power is pretty good, but normally eyeshadows hold up pretty well on me. The biggest con (to me at least) of this product is the smell. When I first opened it, I was wondering what the smell was coming from and I thought it was from the applicator. But it was actually coming from the eyeshadow. I don`t really know how to describe the smell, but all I know is that it smells pretty bad. It might just be me since I haven`t read anything about it, but I asked my mom and she said it smelled like cheap makeup or something. Now normally I wouldn`t smell eyeshadow or care about the smell too much, but it`s pretty overpowering and overwhelming. So overall, if you like matte natural colors, I`d consider buying this quad, but I`m not totally going to recommend it since I think there might be some better quads/palettes in the drugstore (like the Maybelline natural smokes quad).
