I was able to catch a <strong>free advanced screening of Disney`s "Wreck-It Ralph"</strong> tonight. Since it is an animated movie geared towards kids, the plot was predictable. But honestly, predictability in a movie is not much of a turn-off for me. I don`t even care much for spoilers before I see it because I become so engrossed in the film I totally forget about what I may have heard or read beforehand.
<strong>The plot of the movie is simple.</strong>
Ralph is a bad guy in an old school arcade game, but he feels unappreciated and decides he wants to try his hand at being a good guy. So, he jumps through a few games and meets an adorable little girl in a racing game. They have quite the adventure together, but that is all I will say. It`s a definite must-see with all of its video game references. You will see Bowser, Chun-Li, Ryu, Princess Peach, Pacman, and many, many more!
Overall, I <strong>would recommend</strong> seeing this. It`s a great family movie. It doesn`t matter how old or young you are, it was a feel-good movie. I know my guy friends enjoyed it, too. This made me feel nostalgic for my childhood arcade gaming days.
<strong>Wreck-It Ralph will be in theaters November 2</strong>
