As many of you might know this product was given as a sample in the January MyGlam bags. I have used this product for the past 2 weeks (almost). Since i do not wash my hair everyday i would say i used it 5-6 times.
My Hair: semi- thick medium to long length, color treated (dark brown), usually dry and dull depending on the time of day.
First Impression: Love the product! My hair felt great! It felt hydrated, really soft and silky. I could not stop touching my hair. On the back of the bottle it says "apply a small amount as leave in conditioner".. most products leave a greasy heavy feel to the scalp and hair when i leave it in.. but this product does not..
After several washes: I would say that my hair still feels soft and hydrated.. but i noticed that my scalp does get that greasy feeling faster than normal. I can usually go without washing my hair for a couple of days without it greasing up on me.. and this is without leaving it in as a conditioner.
Would i purchase this product? Absolutely if the price was in my budget and it was sold in stores. Being a college student this is not in my budget. I looked on the Wen website and for a total of 40$ every 3 months for the whole hair care system does not sound too bad.. but for some reason being charged on my credit card every 3 months for hair care is what changed my interest in purchasing the product(s).
Also i wanted to add.. if you`re not sure how to use the product there is a how- to on the WEN site.. i will link in the source code.. The reason why i mention this is because i am not sure if you guys have noticed but some of the myglam stylists apply it differently than stated.. and I`m not sure whether it is right or wrong but they apply it more as a treatment than how the website tells you to.
