When the Target in my area were having huge clearances i took full advantage. One of the items i picked up Maybellines EyeStudo Color Plush Quad In "Sunset Seduction"..if i remember correctly this Quad was discounted to about $2.50.
In this quad you get 4 eyeshadows which include:
*White with a pink undertone (which you cant really see from my pictures as my camera wouldnt pick it up)
*A beautiful Taupe
All of these eyeshadows are shimmery and go very well together.
I found these eyeshadows to be silky, comparing to the texture of Wet N Wilds eyeshadows..they apply smoothly and feel nice on the skin. The one thing about these eyeshadows that was a big downfall was that they arent as pigmented as i hoped. Unlike wet n wild the color payoff of this quad wasnt too impressive. Im thankful i didnt pay full price for this..which i believe to be around $7, maybe more.
My favorite color out of this set is the taupe..which has a bit of a silver undertone to it. It looks nice on the lid and i find myself using it just about every time i pull this quad out.
As you can see from my swatches the inner crease shadow (reddish brown) has the best color pay off. The other shadows are a little hard to see. Although this is a decent quad i dont think it is worth anything more then the discounted price i paid for it. You can find wet n wild eyeshadows (as well as other cheaper options) for a better price and extremely pigmented.
Would I recommend Maybellines EyeStudo Color Plush Quades? Probably not from my experience from this particular quad.
The eyeshadows are beautiful but just did not have a great color payoff.
Have you tried Maybellines EyeStudo Color Plush Quades? If so what did you think of them?
Thanks for reading!
