Oh the sweet, warm smell of brown sugar! This is Stila`s Lip Glaze in Brown Sugar. I purchased this for $11 when Ulta was having a deal on the Stila Lip Glazes months ago. This is definitely a very long, overdue review, but at least you know I`ve used this enough times to give you a good review (;
The color looks like a scary brown in the tube, but it has a nice golden, bronze color on the lips. The shimmers are really fine, so no grittiness! It compliments nude lipsticks well. If you have any nude lipsticks that makes you look like a zombie, a gloss color like this is one that will add dimension, and bring you back to life! It is sticky, which is a compliant I have heard from YouTubers, but I don`t mind it. All you have to do is wait about 2-3 minutes after you have applied it and blot the excess off on a tissue. It stays on my lips for 4-5 hours, which is definitely a big plus! My favorite part is that it actually smells like brown sugar (:
PACKAGING DESIGN SUCKS! ONE, it is not cute. $22 and this is the best packaging design they could come up with...my Revlon glosses feel more luxurious, and they are 1/4 of the price! TWO, when you twist out the product, you either have to twist once, sit and wait for one of the longest minutes of your makeup application process, before the gloss actually comes out. "Can`t I just twist it twice? What`s the big deal? you might ask? Well if you do that too much product comes out, and you`re left with a glob of extra gloss on your brush. It will eventually dry up, and the brush will harden, so you`ll have to clean it up, which is a waste of product.
THE VERDICT:Wouldn`t recommend it, unless you could get it at the $11 price.
Have you tried Stila Lip Glazes before? If you have what are your thoughts, are they worth the money?
