Pretty sure everyone has heard of bb creams by now.
One of the most popular brands in Korea is Skin79, their bb creams generally boast of 5 beneficial effects: moisturize, brighten, sun protection, wrinkle protection and sebum control.
I have very pale skin so when I was in Asia, I made sure to test out every bb cream to make sure it matched my skin tone. I found that the Dreamgirls bb cream by Skin79 was one of the only ones that was light enough to match my skin tone and the formula was not too thick.
It was designed for teenage girls who have moderate acne as two of its selling points was sebum control and trouble care for sensitive skin. It also has SPF 30, which is great for protecting against sunlight.
The biggest complaint I`ve heard was that most Asian bb creams have whitening properties, which some people would not want. This bb cream is one of the rare ones that don`t have any whitening properties.
It has medium coverage, enough to cover redness, small acne scars and smooth out pores. I have not suffered a breakout with this product, and I`ve used it in the smothering and humid heat during my summers in Asia.
It may look like a small tube, but it actually lasts quite a long time.
This was definitely a repeat buy for me, I`ve used this bb cream exclusively for 2 years!
I highly recommend it for anyone who wants moderate coverage and oil control
