Review: Sally Hansen quotNo More Mistakesquot Manicure Clean-Up Pen

I purchased this a while back and then I lost it in a corner of my room and just recently found it and got a chance to finally use it. I have to say, first of all, I am no nail expert and although I have gotten leaps and bounds better at doing my nails, I learn as I go and don`t claim to know the ins and outs of manicuring. With that said, maybe I just haven`t really gotten the hang of using this but I was actually very disappointed. Here`s why: It`s promise to `instantly erase` does not deliver. - You can think of this as a pen that`s basically filled with nail polish remover but I honestly feel as though dipping a q-tip with acetone and using that instead would be a little more effective and potent. Does not do a good job of removing smudge stains. - You really have to work this in order to really get this to do its job. If you just pass the pen over the spot where there`s a smudge, you have to keep doing it until the stain is gone and its not easy! I like when my products do the work for me, seamlessly and easily, that`s their job! At the very least to deliver what they`ve promised. Replacement tips are not convenient. - It`s actually really cool that this product comes with replacement tips but the major problem is that with one swipe over some polish te entire tip is stained w/that color and you can`t use it again with a different lacquer color or even use the same tip because once it`s all stained it`s useless. This means that the maximum amount of times you can use this is THREE times; this makes the rest of the product remaining in the pen a complete waste. Overall You`re truly better off using a q-tip, acetone, and a steady hand, trust me! Have any of you lovely ladies tried this before? Loved or hated? Let me know!
