Review: Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil

I am ALWAYS trying out new eyeliners especially drugstore eyeliners because they`re cheaper than the high-end stuff and one probably works the same. So, I loved the UD 24/7 liner but it is so darn expensive! I kind of shifted back into my Milani Liquif`eye and the L`Oreal Extra Intense liquid pencil liner for the LONGEST time. I decided to try something new in the last month the Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil</strong.
This classic kohl eyeliner leaves a thick and easily blended line of color. Soft Kohl will not tug or skip on the delicate skin around your eyes. Kohl pencil can be easily sharpened with a standard size makeup pencil sharpener.
My Thoughts
I had such high hopes for this one since I have the white one and its fine, plus it has really good reviews online. I got one in Jet Black, and gosh it was just disappointing. Everyone is saying how long the staying power is, boo! I hate it it does not stay on my lids (which I normally use gel liners for) or my lower lash line and waterline. It smears so bad! I have oily lids and even when using a primer and setting with a black shadow it just won`t stay. And jet black is not exactly the most opaque black, I prefer my liners to be EXTREMELY black, this takes 2-3 swipes to make it actually really opaque. It was not as easy to apply as everyone says, especially on the waterline, I even cleaned it dry with a q-tip before applying. ON my lids although it didn`t tug its just a pain to put on.
Final Verdict
Skip it, although its $4 it sucks I`ll just add an extra $4 to get my Milani Lquif`eye or L`Oreal one. It smudges and is straight up messy. You can see above I rubbed it very lightly and it smudged really bad.
