Review | Revlon Nearly Naked Liquid Foundation

Hey everyone!

In this post I`ll be reviewing the Revlon Nearly Naked liquid foundation in 150 Nude. I know the Nearly Naked line came out a while ago, which included the liquid foundation, powder and concealer. At the time I only needed foundation so I just got the foundation lol.

Overview | The foundation comes in a bog-standard glass tube. There`s no pump, which makes application messy. I find the lid is a little difficult to close and open as you have to twist it; it`s especially hard to close fully so there`s a constant risk of spiling.

Price | $12.99 for 30ml

Review | This foundation has a strong scent when you first apply it; it`s a mix between floral and medicine. It`s not terribly offensive to me, but if you`re sensitive to scents then you may want to smell it before considering buying it. The colour range was a little small as well. It seems that they all tend to lean either really yellow or really pink. 150 leans pink. The texture is very smooth but a tad thick. It`s harder to blend out and can look cakey around the nose, on peach fuzz and any lines. I tend to sheer it out with a moisturizer. The finish is buildable up to medium I`d say; they advertise it as `nearly naked` so if you have quite a bit of spots or dark circles then you would need a concealer. The finish is satiny; it`s not overly dewy but it has shine so you may want to set it if you have oily skin. With a powder, it holds up 8 hours on my skin. Even after taking a nap, it remains partially intact.

Final Thoughts | This foundation is suited for normal to slightly dry skin; you can pull it off on oily skin if you don`t mind powdering. It`ll work best on someone who needs to just even out skintone; it doesn`t offer much for acne or spots. It does sink into spots/lines somewhat. I wouldn`t repurchase it.
