Review: Revlon Highlighting Palettes

*Pictures are mine.

So lately I`ve been really into conturing and highlighting my face which means I`ve been on the hunt for a really good highlighter and bronzer. I stumbled upon these Revlon highlighting palettes and I instantly picked them up because they looked really pretty and looked like they could be some really good products. I think there is 3 palettes and 1 bronzer in the collection. I found both of mine at my local Walmart for $9.00 each. I picked up `Rose Glow` & `Bronze Glow.`

Rose glow is a gorgeous shimmery rosey pink highlighter. It has a very light shimmery pink strip, rose shimmer strip, dark plummy strip, mauvey pink strip, and another plummy strip. When you swirl your brush in the colors, it creates this gorgeous natural pink glow to your cheeks. I don`t really find this as a highlighter but more so of a blush that gives you a natural glow and that`s what I use it for. This does not make your cheeks look like disco balls. It`s a very natural and suttle shimmer. Only negative thing I have to say about this product is you gotta really swirl your brush in the palette to get the color on since it`s not very pigmented. Other then that, I would suggest checking this out if your looking for a really good soft natural blush. 8 out of 10.

Bronze glow does exactly as it says lol. It gives you that bronze beach goddess glow. It`s deff a shimmery bronzer but it`s not TOO shimmery where you just look like a big disco ball. I think this palette would work best with medium to tan skin tones. My face is light right now so it comes out a little orange but I really blend it int my skin and works just perfect and does a great job conturing. This doesn`t make you look muddy which some bronzers tend to do. I`m really excited to see what it will look like once my face gets a little more tan in the summer! 8 out of 10.
