Review: Revlon Colorstay Foundation

I`ve used up this foundation not too long ago and I thought I should share my review.
This is for the normal / dry skin version; I originally ordered the one for oily skin but the website I got it from didn`t have it in stock, so they sent me this one instead. It worked well on my combination skin, but my skin isn`t too oily so that was expected.

This foundation is pretty thick. You can definitely feel it on your skin, and it`ll look cakey if you use too much, but the good thing is that it`s full coverage, so you don`t need a lot to cover your whole face. A little goes a long way.
Another positive aspect is that it does not transfer at all. Because of this, it lasts well throughout the day.
I recommend a flat top kabuki brush to apply it, like the F80 from Sigma.

All in all, it`s one of the best foundations I`ve tried still doesn`t beat my beloved Shiseido Sun Protection Foundation (review here -> but it beats some high end foundations I`ve tried.
I actually think it`s a much less expensive dupe for one of my other foundations, the Guerlain Parure Extreme.

My color is Sand Beige, but it was a bit too dark and pink toned for my skintone, Buff would probably be better (I`m a NC20/25 in MAC foundations, btw).

If you want to see a before and after of my face using this foundation, check out my blog:
There`s a more indepth review and also more pictures there.
