Rag & Bone presented a very wearable, urban and chic collection at the F/W 2013 shows at New York Fashion Week.
Wool and knit fabrics were embellished with leather and fur elements and the clothes were given an extra oomph with the various patterns such as zig-zag, stripes, and floral.
The collection was heavily layered - coats over blazers over sweaters over skirts over leggings - which I felt got in the way of some looks, but all in all was nicely executed. I particulary enjoyed the color palette of the show; I find the rusty red and copper gorgeous tones for the fall and winter season and a nice surprise from the navy, black, white, and gray hues. Apart from the fashion, I liked the unkempt, bed hair and simple black eyeliner for the show that kept the laid back feel of the Rag & Bone brand.
