The product that I will be reviewing is the Pond`s Flawless White Re-Brightening Night Treatment. If you are wondering why you might not have seen or heard much about this product/line before, I believe that it is because it is a line specific to Asia. I believe that it`s easily found in countries like Thailand and the Philippines. This line of product is similar and is often compared to the more expensive line of Shiseido White Lucent, which I have not tried any product from that particular line so unfortunately, I cannot personally compare.
The Re-Brightening Night Treatment claims to help rejuvenate, visibly brighten tired skin, nourishes skin making it soft and smooth. The active ingredient in the Flawless White line, VAO-B3 complex, fades away dark spots and blemishes.
Since this is a product of Asia and is not available in the United States, you can only purchase this product from overseas or online. With that in mind, there are a few various retailers that sell this line of product. I purchased mine from Ebay, but if you don`t trust Ebay, then I believe you can also purchase this from Amazon and YesStyle.
Pricing will also vary, but will range between $20-30 if you also keep in mind the cost of shipping.
I really like the packaging of this product because it is weighty and gives a more expensive feel. However, for a "drugstore" line, the packaging looks a lot more high-end! The product is in a frosted-glass packaging and the container sort of resembles a tear-shape. The cute, transparent pink-trimmed lid then twists off revealing the product.
The Pond`s Flawless White line quickly attracted me as I purchased it about more than a year ago. I was looking for products that would help fade away my hyperpigmentation and dark spots that were left from my blemishes and resulting scars. The Re-Brightening Night Treatment has a nice, floral fragrance which may seem strong to some of you, but I think it`s lovely. Since this was a "night" treatment, I thought that it was going to be thick and heavy but it was the opposite! This moisturizer is nice, light and soft which means that it spreads evenly on the skin and it also gets absorbed quickly as well. I do not find that it is extremely moisturizing so for those with really dry skin, I suggest putting a more hydrating moisturizer on top. Here`s the big question... Does it actually work in fading away the hyperpigmentation and dark spots? YES! It`s no miracle worker and it might take you weeks or months to see results, but I did. I used this about a year ago and during that time, I broke out badly and had a lot of dark spots as a result. I then used this every night in my routine and without even realizing it, my skin was brighter and the dark spots were hardly noticeable. A couple months ago, I broke out badly again and this time, the same thing happened. I remembered this product and it`s now been incorporated with my night routine every night.
OVERALL, I highly recommend the Pond`s Flawless White Re-Brightening Night Treatment.
Definitely consider this product if you want to fade away dark spots and hyperpigmentation but do not want to immediately spend the money on more expensive brightening lines. The only downfall to this is that it is not available here in the States and you can only get it online or overseas, which tend to spike up the price dramatically.
