The top coat that I have been using for the past few months is the
Orly Sec N` Dry Quick Deep-Dry Topcoat
PRODUCT CLAIM: Sec `N Dry Quick Deep-Dry Topcoat penetrates and dries nail lacquer layers at once, creating a hard protective finish
PRICING: You can purchase this at various drugstores/beauty supply stores. I have seen it sold at Sally Beauty Supply for $6.99-7.99 (0.6 fl oz)
PACKAGING: The packaging for this top coat is pretty standard. It is in a frosted lavender bottle with a purple cap. I love Orly polishes because their caps are always cushioned and have a nice grip on them so it`s very comfortable to hold!
REVIEW: I have mixed feelings about this top coat. I have been using it as my top coat for the past few months ever since I have decided that I do not want to use Seche Vite as my topcoat anymore. Although it claims to be quick drying, I do not feel like it dries fast enough because after I paint my nails and let it dry off for a few minutes, I find that it doesn`t completely seal my polish. I still do get dents and nicks and my polishes also shifts around still. A few things that I do really like about this topcoat is that unlike Seche Vite, it does not thicken. It has more of a thinner formula, which I like. This means that I don`t have to constantly thin it out with a polish thinner.
PROS: Decent price for a topcoat Great packaging I prefer the thinner/more runny formula Nice shine
CONS: Not as quick drying as Seche Vite Still get dents/nicks in polish Shifts the polish around Nice shine although the shine does fade away after a few days if you do not reapply
OVERALL, I give the Orly Sec N` Dry Quick Deep-Dry Topcoat a B. It`s a good topcoat, but I don`t think it is amazing or anything. I am probably not going to be repurchasing this topcoat after I finish it. To see my review on the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, click /viz/review-seche-vite-dry-fast-top-coat
