So a couple months ago I purchased these hair extensions from the website http://www.thematerialistic.com. I purchased a weft that was 20 inches long and weights 120 grams for $60.00. Before I purchased these hair extensions I did a lot of research i looked at a bunch of videos and blogs reviewing theses extensions and they seemed to be legit and after I spoke to the owners and they answered my questions about the extension I made up my mind and decided that I would get them.
the reason that I got the weft was because I wanted to make my own tape in hair extensions which I did do but it only lasted for less then a month in my hair. anyways, the hair itself was good for about a month but then the bottom near the nape of the neck got extremley tangled! When I got the hair like almost every set of extensions you receive the hair was super smooth and silky and they smelt of plastic. So after washing the hair the plastic smell went away and surprisingly the extensions took that wash pretty well, however the hair was no longer straight it became very wavy.
so I had to straighten the hair and it looked extremely healthy after I installed it into my head.
however when I curled my hair the ends became very thin not to mention that the ends were already super thin which is not something that I like in hair extensions. so my guess is that bodybling does not have 100% human hair but in fact it has a blend of synthetic and human hair. another thing that I noticed about the extensions were that after I curled my hair ( not to mention that I even lowered the heat setting of my curler ) the hair had what seemed to be split ends but it was actually burnt ends. overall these hair extensions were only good the first few days after wards they were as thin as my natural hair. I was not happy with them but if you guys are willing to spend money on them and only need them for a few wears then they would be okay to purchase.
