Review: Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream and Moisturizer

It`s finally summer vacation, I`m going to finally write more reviews! So many products I`ve been hoarding and meaning to review for the LONGEST time. Some other exciting news at the bottom of this post.
Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream
This is either a love or hate product, for me I love it why? Well it has "BB Cream" on the box, I`ve tried a lot of BB creams in the past 2 years or so including the popular asian BB creams, so I know what a BB cream is supposed to be. This is not it, but it does say right under the "BB Cream" line that it is a "tinted moisturizer", so that`s exactly what it is. For the summer this is PERFECT even though I have oily combo skin this lasts a fairly decent amount of time on my face. It`s a quick thing to slap on especially if you`re dashing out the door to the grocery store. It lacks a lot of coverage, but it evens out my skin tone, and gives it a fresh kind of dewy finish with a glow that makes my skin look super healthy. It feels hydrating, and silky on the skin. I usually set this with a loose powder and I`m good to go. It has a fresh cucumber melon smell that seems to bug a lot of people, but personally I love it! It does go away after a bit so it shouldn`t be too bothersome. My sister looked at me one day and said "wow are you wearing any makeup? Your skin looks great!" Its just this "BB Cream". It also makes a great base for foundation to go on top of which I do sometimes when I need more coverage. The consistency isn`t thick like the Missha Perfect Cover bb cream if you`ve ever tried that its more liquidy and a lot easier to blend. Even though it looks really light on my hand, once blended it matches perfectly to my skin tone. This also has SPF 15 which makes me SUPER happy, even though its not enough SPF its something there to protect your skin. Overall, I do enjoy this product, however I`m not sure if I would repurchase it. I would not recommend it if you want a lot of coverage since it is pretty sheer, you don`t like too much moisture, scented stuff, and the idea of "tinted moisturizer" to begin with. On a side note, I have acne prone skin, but I have not broke out in the last 2 months I`ve used this. My skin is really clear, not from this product though, just in general.
Olay Fresh Effects Satin Finish Moisturizer
Let me start out by saying this is my new ALL time favorite face moisturizer. A bit pricey for the amount you get, but its GREAT. I love how it feels, its like a gel type moisturizer that sinks right in and does not make my combo oily skin oilier or nasty since it`s oil free. Its truely lightweight and makes my face super soft and silky to the touch. It also helps me stay shine free, especially since California gets really HOT in the summer this is very much appreciated. If you have ever tried the Smashbox Photo Finish primer, this feels exactly like it, though it is a moisturizer I use it as a primer before applying my foundation because it makes my makeup lasts on my face longer. 2 in 1 can`t beat that though it doesn`t say it is a primer. It isn`t super moisturizing for those of you with really dry skin, but if you have combo skin, or oily skin this is probably one of the best moisturizers! I recommend this considering I`m on my 3rd bottle.
Some Notes
The moisturizer is $14.99 at most drugstores unless you go to Target or Walmart it`s around 10 or 11 I usually get mine at a grocery store where it`s ALWAYS on sale for $9 as well as the BB Cream.

I will be making a Youtube channel where I will have more reviews, and demos of products as well as tutorials based around a lot more drugstore products than high-end so stay tuned.
