Hello lovely Luuuxers!
This post is a tiny bit belated because my sweet boyfriend got me these sunglasses for my birthday back during the summer! But now that I have owned them and worn them for quite some time, I thought I would give a quick review! Plus, most people don`t realize that sunglasses are important all year round to protect your eyes, not just in the summer months!
These aviator-style sunglasses are the `Feedback` model, featuring rose gold frames and tortoise detail on the stems. These glasses are available in a variety of colors, but I am so happy my boyfriend chose rose gold because I think they are absolutely beautiful! The rose gold color is not *too* pink, which I love. The frames are really sturdy and well-designed, as are the famous Oakley lenses. They are dark enough that they protect my eyes, but are still a very flattering brown shade.
The biggest problem that I tend to have with sunglasses is that they irritate the bridge of my nose. For some reason the bridge of my nose is super sensitive and pressure there gives me headaches! Fortunately, these glasses are ultra lightweight and are designed to minimize pressure on the bridge, so they are the most comfortable sunglasses I have ever had the pleasure to wear.
The size and shape of these glasses are also very flattering. The lenses are not too square or too round, and they fit snugly around the head without being too tight, so they flatter my rather elongated face shape. They also do not easily fall off, which is nice because when you have expensive sunglasses, the last thing you want is for them to fly off your head or face and break! I feel comfortable wearing these out on a normal day, as well as when I am active, because they fit so well.
Overall, if you are in the market for higher end sunglasses that are stylish but also very functional, these are highly recommended. Sometimes I feel like high-end sunglasses are expensive only because of the brand name, but I feel that these glasses go beyond fashion and are worth the money you pay for quality and sturdy construction.
Have you ever tried Oakley sunglasses? What are your favorite brands and styles of sunglasses?
