Review: Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

As a BzzAgent, I was invited to the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream BzzCampaign where I was given the chance to try out a full size tube of this product (2 oz) as well as receive little mini tubes of this hand cream to give to my friends and family to try out. This is actually the first time I have heard of this product and being the hand cream junkie that I am, I was really excited to try out this product.

PRODUCT CLAIMS:
- Just one dab repairs 7 signs of damage: dryness, chapping, splitting nails, dry cuticles, scaliness and roughness
- First hand cream to heal with concentrated glycerin
- Keeps manicured hands looking beautiful
- Long-lasting
- Glycerin-rich, concentrated
- 2oz product good for 200 uses
- Available in Original and Fragrance-Free

Suggested retail price of $4.99 per 2 oz product

Pretty standard packaging that`s easy and convenient to use - a squeeze tube with a twist off cap. I think the packaging could have been improved with a flip cap rather than a twist off cap.

The full size 2 oz tube that I received is fragrance free while the sample tubes are the original variety, which has a nice, light somewhat-floral scent which I like. I`m not sure if it`s it is just me but it seems like the original cream is a bit more slick as well. The first time I used this hand cream, I was really surprised by the texture and formulation of the hand cream. Usually, the hand creams that I have tried in the past are more of a thick cream or lotion-like formula. This Neutrogena hand cream is a concentrated glycerin formula and the texture of it, once applied and rubbed into my hands, reminded me of a silicone primer that you would use on your face. I loved how it felt on my hands! It blended in really quickly and afterwards, my hands felt incredibly smooth yet it was not sticky to the touch. They were right on with the concentrated glycerin formula - you really don`t need a lot at all. I find that if you apply it on your hands and there remains remnants of "white" on your hands, you`ve applied too much. Since using this hand cream, I have really noticed an improvement in my hands. It`s definitely less dry and crackly around my cuticles. I`ve also noticed that my nails aren`t splitting the way they used to prior to using this hand cream! I`ve tried using this hand cream on my lips (love that it`s versatile) but I don`t think I prefer using it on my lips much. It sinks in quickly and doesn`t give that "slick" feeling - which I do prefer on my lips! This hand cream is perfect for the hands, elbows, and knees though. I love using this stuff, especially at night before I go to bed! Can you tell the difference in the first and second picture of my hand and nails? After using this hand cream, the lines and dryness that I had are definitely gone and my hand looks a lot more soft!

OVERALL, I do highly recommend the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
If you haven`t tried out this hand cream, I think you should give it a chance! It`s not too expensive at $5 for a 2 oz tube and it should last a while (not quite sure about 200 uses though... That would depend on the amount you use each time).

*DISCLAIMER*: I received sample products of the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream for free as a BzzAgent for participating in the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream BzzCampaign, but in no way does that compromise the honesty and integrity of my thoughts and opinions. I was not paid for this review and these are my own honest opinions.
