Hi everyone! Here is another review! With summer coming up I have been loving really warm orange and coral blushes which is a definite change from my usual pink and peach blushes. These warmer colors just give me a beautiful flush that`s perfect for summer, and it`s been hot in the Bay lately! This is a review on the Milani Baked Blush in Corallina and while these products are not new, another review never hurt anyone right?
Price & Availability - $7 to $9 depending on where you buy - Usually available wherever Milani products are sold
Shade & Finish - Corallina is a really gorgeous orangy coral with small silver glitter
Packaging - Pretty bulky - Clear window on top to view the color, but be careful not to push it too hard otherwise it will fall out of the lid and crush your blush
Scent - None
Pros - Pretty easy to find - Color is perfect for summer - VERY pigmented so a little goes a long way - Lasts all day without fading
Neutrals - May or may not be expensive, depending on how you look at it - it will last you a long time, so if you like the color it will be a definite investment - Does have silver glitter, but you can buff that away with your brush
Cons - Packaging looks and feels cheap - Packaging is also pretty bulky
Thoughts I`ve had this blush for a long time, and used it a couple times after initially buying it but it wasn`t until I really got into orange/coral for the season (darn you Sephora + Pantone!) that I really started to get interested in going bright and bold for the cheeks and lips. Corallina is a really gorgeous bright coral that really just warms up my face. It does have some silver glitter particles in it, but those are easily buffed out with a dense brush and the color still remains on your face. This blush is crazy pigmented so be careful with applying. I used a MAC 129 brush, and was able to dip it lightly in the blush and get the pigmentation I wanted. It`s also definitely buildable if you don`t get full on color the first time around. I also have pretty oily skin, and while blushes don`t necessarily disappear on my face, there can be some noticeable fading. Not with this blush though. After a few hours at work this blush was just as bright as when I had initially put it on, so that makes it a winner in my book.
Overall If you`re looking for a pigmented coral blush for the summer I would definitely recommend trying out this one. It`s super pigmented so tread lightly, but it will last you through that upcoming summer heat. Thanks for reading! Have you tried this blush? What do you think of it?
