The product I`ll be reviewing is the Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer.
- A lightweight, oil-free complexion corrector that enhances the skin`s texture and primes the skin for makeup application.
- HD Microperfecting Primer deeply nourishes, moisturizes, and softens the skin, creating a glowing effect. Creates a protective layer on the skin allowing foundation to glide on easily and last longer.
$34 for 1.01 oz of product. You can purchase this primer at Sephora stores and at the Sephora website.
I only have the sample-sized version of this product. However, the full-size product comes in a bottle with a pump which makes for a very convenient and sanitary application.
I have had this product for such a long time because I only use it for special occasions when I really need my foundation and face makeup to really last. This MUFE HD primer isn`t like other typical primers out on the market in that it is not silicon-based. It has this gel/lotion-like consistency and feels like you are applying a nice moisturizer on the skin. It blends and sinks into your skin easily. MUFE has 6 color-correcting shades but the one that I am using is in "0 Neutral" which adds natural luminosity to the complexion. In using this primer, I can really notice a difference in my skin when I apply my foundation and the rest of my face makeup on. My foundation seems to glide on a lot more easily and does not sink into my pores, which would make your face makeup appear not as smooth. It does add a slight healthy glow to my face and overall, my foundation just looks a lot better than if I were to not use this primer. Also, this primer keeps my foundation on for HOURS on end, even when I sweat heavily.
OVERALL, I do recommend the Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer.
It feels lightweight on the skin and does diminish the appearance of my pores as well as make my foundation look a lot more smooth. I like that it isn`t silicon-based just because it can clog up the pores and may break you out.
